The Norwegian part of the Swedish Bredbandsbolaget was acquired by Hafslund Telekom. The broadband network with its 3000 customers had previously been run by the Swedish parent company. Hafslund Telekom took the decision to allow Labs² and BRIKKS to take over the network and its customers.

As a result, the broadband service gained full control over all the processes concerning the handling of customers, services and network provisioning. More focus could be put on the core area, that is to say the construction of the broadband networks and sales.
