Together with Cisco, Labs² is supplying a unique wireless infrastructure as the next phase of PoC Gigabit in Lund. The fixed broadband network in Lund Municipality is now being supplemented with a pilot project for the next generation of wireless network using the 802.11n technology which has a theoretical maximum performance of 540 Mbit/s. Together with our client ViaEuropa, Labs² will be offering the wireless network initially to a number of selected locations in Lund city centre. The ambition is to cover all the important areas in the inner-city within one year.

Through its business support system BRIKKS and an integration with selected Cisco products, Labs² will be offering ViaEuropa's existing customers the chance of freely selecting its service suppliers, over both the fixed and wireless networks.
